Introudction of DST Drain Valve
The sleeve type drain valves are applied in drill stem testing operation to drain the volume fluid and release pressure when string testing finished. Before the drain valve is run in hole, the ports in the sleeve of drain valve will be sealed with two sets of O rings, and in order to keep the sliding sleeve tighten during downhole operation, the sliding sleeve and rotating nut are locked by two screws, after testing finished, the drain collar is attached, by rotating the nut to make the sliding sleeve moves up when the ports in the sleeve are aligned with the ports in the body of the tool,then the fluid may be drained.
